Product Review: Twisted Love Ribbed 5.5" Silicone Dildo, sent to me by Naughty North and Cal Exotics.
A very versatile toy for you and any partner!
At this point, I've tried lots of dildos! Silicone, glass, curved.. the perks of working in the adult industry!
So, it probably makes sense that I am getting a general idea of what I like. I find myself leaning away from products that are made of glass. They are very pretty, but I don't love the way that they feel.
Something with a little more flexibility feels great for me! So when Naughty North had a list of cute little silicone dildos for me the choose from, the only other qualification for me was that it was pink! You guys know me by now..
There were a few options for me in the pink category, and I settled on a 5.5" dildo with a ribbed pattern. Something that I had yet to try!
I'll be honest, I've shied away from products that are not "smooth" since having a hard start with dildos (my past with vaginismus) but I was ready to conquer a little fear and try! I'm unsure if I was truly ready, or if I got really lucky with this being my first non-smooth dildo..
Ribbed & flexible..
Taking the twisted love dildo out of the packaging was like immediate relief! I think my worry had been that the toy would be very stiff and that I may not enjoy the feeling based on that (ribbed texture aside), but this product is anything but!
This product is made of extremely flexible material. I began by just holding it and playing with the flexibility of it in my hands. It was very reassuring for my picky vagina/brain.
Of course, after being comforted by this flexibility I had to go forward and give this toy a proper try!
The ribbed sensations were somehow exactly what I expected and not at all! Once inserted, I couldn't really tell this from a non-ribbed product. Where the difference lies, is on the movement in and out.
When moving this product in and out, one can feel each rib as it passes. I feel like it is accurate to compare to anal beads, besides the change in size that beads often have. The size of this product is basically the same from tip to base, but when using it the ribs can be felt - almost as if you could count them, if you're not like me and distracted by the new sensation. It is a unique feeling, that I would recommend at least once to those who have not tried this sort of product.

To continue.. I think that the general feeling of this toy makes it fun for many different types of adult fun! It is very versatile!
Due to the flexibility of this toy, I think it could be good for anal play as well as vaginal. I find that for beginner anal play a flexible material is often nicer than something more firm. This also makes sense with the length and girth of the toy, and like I said above, has some similarities to anal beads because to the ribbed outside.
It is very good, overall, as a toy to focus on pleasure. Not too big, not too small, flexible but textured material..
This dildo also has a nice flared base that is compatible with most strap-on harnesses. Like I said before, versatile is the main word to describe this product!
It really is wonderful for so many types of fun, between so many different people! I keep thinking of different scenarios for this toy to be used in, and can't wait to try it in many of those ways!
